The Saga of the Exiles is probably my favourite series of books. It starts on in a perfect world. Who wouldn’t want to live in a utopia? It turns out that there’s quite a few who don’t. It’s a shame that the only place to go is also less than perfect… You can order the series here, and even now, years after it was written, there’s an active fan base. There’s a prequel/sequel (depending on your perspective) I don’t think it comes close… but you’ll want to give it a go anyway
