I won’t lie. I forced myself to read the first quarter of the book. Then I gave up.

The plot jumps to and fro between poorly described scenarios and features characters to whom I didn’t warm at all. I suppose I can’t complain for ninety-nine pence. I will come back to this at some future point… but at the moment I can’t recommend it.
