“Brideshead Revisited” by Evelyn Waugh is a favourite book of mine. On this little site of book reviews you’ll see that when I last made a top ten list of books (March 2019) I rated it as my third favourite book.

I think that is probably still true even though the main characters were probably the contemporaries of my grandparents.
