“Aftershocks” by Marko Kloos was a good read. Having read a lot of his stuff I was
looking forward to this. An excellent plot with characters to whom I could
relate…
Such a shame that it ends before
things get going. The first book in the series is clearly setting the scene.
But like all e-books it is rather short. I came to the end with something of a
sense of “oh – is that it?”. I’ve got to wait months for the next instalment, and I can’t help
but wonder if this is going to follow what seems to be a trend in new e-books
in that what would have been one book (back in
the day of paperbacks) will be half a dozen novellas stretched out over a
couple of years.
Am I being cynical in feeling that this is how Amazon make money
out of us?
